Troubleshooting Audio issues with WebEx

1.       Once you are in the WebEx meeting, click the black button with the 3 vertical dots. This will open up a menu.

 

2.       Click on the button that says Speaker, microphone, and camera.

 

3.        Another box will pop up giving you access to specific tools to choose different speakers/headphones and microphones. The red box shows the microphone options. If you have more than one option on your device, you can click on the button in the red box and choose which on you want to use.

 

 

4.        The red box shows the speaker options. If you have more than one option on your device, you can click on the button in the red box and choose which on you want to use. Usually, this will be either the device speakers or headphones if you have them plugged in.

 

 

5.        The buttons located within the red boxes below allow you to adjust your speaker/headphones setting, and your microphone settings. The test button for the speaker setting will play back sound to make sure you can hear it. The output volume under the speaker setting allows you to lower or raise the volume of the speakers.

 



6.       The buttons located within the red boxes below allow you to adjust your speaker/headphones setting, and your microphone settings. The test button for the microphone setting will record you talking for a few seconds and then play the audio back to make sure you can hear it. The output volume under the microphone setting allows you to lower or raise the volume on the microphone. The input level under the microphone setting will jump up and down if your microphone is working also.
